Our consultancy process is designed to optimise your site’s accessibility, which will in turn increase its potential number of visitors.  We offer four distinct services to our clients:

  1. Overview consultation

Our highly specialised service starts with an investigation into your website’s current accessibility and usability.  This part of what we do gives a general overview as to how accessible your website is in terms of the law contained within the Disability Discrimination Act (DDA), the guidance of the Disability Rights Commission, and the W3C guidelines.  We will provide you with a report detailing our feedback on the general issues we have encountered.

  1. Detailed consultation

This is a more detailed service and contains the following elements:

  • Analysis of each page type on your website
  • A breakdown of the accessibility and usability issues arising on each page
  • Detailed guidance on how these issues should be remedied

From our findings, we produce a report which we then present to you in order to give you the opportunity to ask questions and discuss the results of the investigation in person. 

  1. Working with your web team

We can assist your in-house web team or current web provider in carrying out the recommendations from our report by working with them to make the necessary changes.  We understand the importance of continuing a strong working relationship between you and your web provide or web team.  That’s why we work with them to achieve your goals whilst being careful to ensure that your brand consistency is maintained.

  1. Ongoing support

Once the changes recommended in our report have been carried out, we can then come to an arrangement with you regarding ongoing support.  We like to form strong relationships with our clients and realise that there is little value to be gained by making your site accessible and then leaving it alone for six months or a year.  In large companies where it is crucial that the website remains dynamic, with potentially many people updating the site on a daily basis, our support services ensure that accessibility and brand consistency is maintained.  We have various packages to suit your needs, each including a monthly accessibility check to ensure that everything is as it should be.
